Freshservice is implementing changes/upgrades to some of its systems and features to provide improved services and an uninterrupted IT service management experience. Here’s a list of changes that are expected in November 2025 and their respective impacts:
``` Table of contentsIntroducing groups and chains in Approvals Deprecating Application Load Balancer IPs Upgrading Sandbox account Freshservice Analytics usage limits (previously Fair Usage Policy) ```
1\. Introducing groups and chains in Approvals
Freshservice is changing how approvals are raised and granted. Freshservice is introducing approval groups and chains to facilitate approvals that happen simultaneously.
2\. Deprecating Application Load Balancer IPs
The Application Load Balancer (ALB) IP addresses (IPs) for Freshservice is being deprecated to enable domain-based allowlisting of endpoints instead of static IP-based allowlisting.
3\. Upgrading Sandbox account
Take advantage of the latest enhancements in Sandbox by upgrading to the newest version. This upgrade includes performance improvements and optimizations.
4\. Freshservice Analytics usage limits (previously Fair Usage Policy)
``` Update (26.09.2025): The Analytics usage limits implementation was part of the May 2025 notice. To make it easier for customers to resolve impacted reports, the resolution date has been extended to March 31, 2026 (previously November 5, 2025). ```
Freshservice is introducing a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) for all users of the Analytics modules. To ensure all users have uninterrupted, performant, and smooth reporting experiences, we are implementing safeguards in some of our analytics capabilities starting March 31, 2026. Reports that are not modified to comply with FUP limits before November 5, 2025, will be moved to the Trash folder.
