Zapier is a powerful integration platform which lets you bridge the gap between web applications and easily automate tasks across applications.

How the Freshservice- Zapier Integration works

By creating an account with Zapier you can enable the Freshservice-Zapier integration. Now, you get to integrate Freshservice with any of the hundreds of available applications, by creating a Zap. Every time a Zap’s rules (triggers) are fulfilled in ‘App A’, the desired action takes place automatically in ‘App B’.

Quick Guide to Setting Up the Zapier Integration

  • Visit https://zapier.com/ and sign up for an account.
  • Once you’ve created and verified your account, click on the “Make a Zap” tab on the top of the screen.
  • When you create a Zap that includes Freshservice as one of the apps, you will need to add your Freshservice account to Zapier
  • Click on “Connect a Freshservice Account”.

  • Provide a name for the account. This will help you identify the Freshservice account in Zapier.
  • Enter the subdomain of your Freshservice account.
  • Enter the API key of your account. To get your API key:
  • Login to your Freshservice account.
  • Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner choose "Profile settings".
  • Your API key will be on the right pane.
  • Click on ‘Continue’.

  • Zapier will verify the information and display the “Account is working” message. Click on ‘Continue’ to proceed with the Zap.
