At Scaly AB, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how our app, Freshdesk Upsales Integrator ("the App"), processes data when installed and used via the Freshworks Marketplace. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this policy.


1. Information We Access

The App operates within the Freshdesk environment and accesses the following information in real time — we do not store any data:

Types of Data:

  • Ticket Information: Ticket ID and sender's email address

  • Contact Information:

    • From Freshdesk: The contact associated with the ticket

    • From Upsales CRM: Contact profile including name, email, title, company, phone number, and account manager (if available)


2. How We Use This Information

We use this information only for the following purposes:

  • To display a consolidated contact view from both Freshdesk and Upsales CRM within your ticket sidebar

  • To help agents identify customer context and act faster in support conversations

This data is used on-demand, only within the user session — no long-term data storage is performed.


3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties outside of the services we integrate with. Data is shared only with:

  • Freshdesk (to retrieve ticket and contact context)

  • Upsales CRM (to retrieve contact records based on email)

4. Data Security & Storage

We implement platform-based security practices to protect your data:

  • No data is stored on Scaly AB's servers

  • All requests are made over secure HTTPS

  • The App runs entirely within the Freshworks platform and follows its authentication protocols


5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights including:

  • Access to the personal data accessed through the App

  • Correction or deletion of data

  • Request to stop data processing

6. Cookies & Tracking

The App does not use cookies, trackers, or any form of analytics. All functionality is based on real-time user interactions within Freshdesk.
