Receive Items

When you place a purchase order, the items requested might be delivered in phases. So, you would have to update the number of assets received periodically or in bulk if it’s delivered in one go. In the purchase order management module, you can do this by keeping track of the received items from right within your Purchase Order.

  • Navigate to the Purchase Order for which you need to receive items.
  • Click on Receive Items on the top right corner of the Purchase Order

    • Note: The option to receive items will be shown only when the Purchase Order is in Ordered status.

  • Update the number of received items in the table of ordered products that you see.
  • You can also view the number of items ordered and the number of items pending in the item details section.

    • Once you receive the items, you can now add them to your inventory right from the purchase order.
